Our journey began in 1963 when our founder,
Roy Sheargold, transformed a fledgling home renovation business into a thriving property development company. Over six decades, Sheargold has forged a remarkable legacy, completing more than 70 projects spanning Sydney, Newcastle, Taree, the Central Coast, Nowra, Ulladulla and Wollongong.

In the early years, Sheargold partnered with pioneering families like the Tiecks and Cornocks, the visionaries behind the Franklins supermarket chain. Together, we delivered large-scale housing subdivisions, apartment complexes, and shopping centres, laying the foundation for communities and commercial hubs. 

By the late 1980s, Sheargold had evolved further, diversifying into the investment and management of industrial, commercial, and residential properties while continuing to spearhead major residential developments.

Today Sheargold has transitioned to a new chapter as a family office and passive investor. Property remains a focus and we use our deep-rooted experience to identify investment opportunities and develop or enhance assets in our portfolio whilst also diversifying our investments to other asset classes. Driven by the principle of Generations Creating a Legacy, we remain dedicated to building, nurturing, and preserving assets that will serve future generations.
