Our journey began in 1963 when our founder, Roy Sheargold, transformed a fledgling home renovation business into a thriving property development company. Over six decades, Sheargold has forged a remarkable legacy, completing more than 70 projects spanning Sydney, Newcastle, Taree, the Central Coast, Nowra, Ulladulla and Wollongong.

In the early years, Sheargold partnered with pioneering familieslike the Tiecks and Cornocks, the visionaries behind the Franklins supermarketchain. Together, we delivered large-scale housing subdivisions, apartmentcomplexes, and shopping centres, laying the foundation for communities andcommercial hubs. 

By the late 1980s, Sheargold had evolved further, diversifyinginto the investment and management of industrial, commercial, and residentialproperties while continuing to spearhead major residential developments.

Today Sheargold has transitioned to a new chapter as a familyoffice and passive investor. Property remains a focus and we use ourdeep-rooted experience to identify investment opportunities and develop orenhance assets in our portfolio whilst also diversifying our investments toother asset classes.
