In 1962, Roy Sheargold became a founding member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA). Carrying forward his grandfather’s legacy, Michael Sheargold, Managing Director of Sheargold, has recently assumed the prestigious role of NSW President at UDIA, marking one of the youngest appointments to this position. Michael's journey includes his earlier involvement on the Council in 2016 and as NSW Secretary in 2017, a testament to the high regard he commands within the industry.
